is there a way around paypal hold?
they limited my account access and now i cannot send or withdraw money. first they wanted me to confirm my bank account, phone number and credit card which i did. now they want a copy of a utility bill in my name, a copy of my drivers license, a copy of a current pay stub, a copy of my social security card.
i do not have any claims on my account or any chargebacks and havent done anything wrong.
ive called them numerous times and they will not restore my account unless i give them all the above mentioned.
is there a way around this? what happens if i dont want to use paypal anymore and dont want them to have my info? how do i get them money they are holding and how long does it take?
Whether you’ve actually done anything wrong or not doesn’t matter. Something triggered a red flag at PayPal, like the size, frequency, source, or other factor about your transactions that *could* be a sign of bad behavior. So they need some positive ID. If you don’t have anything to hide, just file the paperwork and get it over with.
