i want virgin mobile phone service but i dont want to do a plan or credit/debit/paypal. can i just buy these top up cards and get my phone service like that? and what do the top up cards include internet service?

You will need a credit/debit card to sign up. But after that you won’t need to ever charge to it. You can buy virgin mobile top up cards at many stores including target and walmart.

Once you buy a card, you type in the code on it and it will add to your account. You can do this online or on your phone. However top up cards are only good for minutes, and it only lasts for 30 days. They do not include internet or texting. The benefit to buying top up cards (or buying a minute pack online-same thing, only online you need a debit/credit card where as in the store you can use cash) is that you can get minutes for less than the standard 20 cents a minute. I believe the 25 dollar top up card gives you 200 minutes at a rate of 12 cents a minute. However the downside is that the minutes expire after 30 days.

What I do is add $10 to my account when I need it by going online and using my debit card. I then have a $10 account balance that never expires and if I need to use my phone, I pay the standard 20 cents a minute, 15 cents a text message or 1.50 a day for internet (which is not a bad deal at all compared to other no contract phones). I think this is the best way, but you will need to use a debit/credit card. However you control when and how much you pay. No monthly hassles, and if you don’t use your phone that often, you won’t have to add money that often.

You can’t, but if you have a bank account then why don’t you set up a direct debit. Or just go into a shop and buy a top up card with cash

I want to register for teen second life, But whenever i try it always asks me for my mobile or paypal why do they want that kind of information? and i cant use mobile cause its only okay in USA or canada. So they want my moms/dads credit card number? is it safe to give it to them? but why do they want it anyway? isthere a way to not give them paypal?

They ask for it to prove your identity and age, and basically to prove that you have your parents permission, but you won’t be charged and it is safe to do. No there is no other way, except wait til you are 18 then they don’t require ID at all.

I’ve been trying to join today, but it’s asking for my mobile number or paypal. Will it charge me? I tried making it in the basic account, not the premium. And what if I don’t have a paypal?

It won’t be charging money, it’s only asking for this for verification that you’re a real live teenager and not some creepy pedo.

I want to get the $25 BeyondTalk plan from Virgin Mobile with the Rumor 2 phone (the one priced at $90), but there is one problem….. I don’t have a credit card/debit card/PayPal account. Is there any other way to buy this plan and stay away from those three?? Would the VM TopUp prepaid cards work for this?? Or am I out of luck??

the top up card will work for adding money/minutes to your phone. now i’m not sure if you can buy a phone with it online though but you can also get a phone from the store. walmart radioshack, pretty much any electronic store has virgin mobile phones and top up cards.

I was planning to get mobile broadband..somebody has asked for £10 to pay through Paypal and he will tell me how to get unlimited mobile broadband through dongle for £5 a month on network 3.I am not sure how far it is true.Does anyone has experience with it or knows how to get it for £5 a month

My mate uses a Virgin dongle and he gets 1GB per monthe for £5 with free dongle. Phone virgin customer service and ask.
