I paid for my item on bay but I think the person I bought my item from is a scammer. The problem is I already transferred the money over to him through payola. I emailed the seller 4 days ago so I could get a shipping tracking number but he never got back to me? can and how can I get a refund from payola and report the seller? thanks

When I buy an item on eBay, I pay instantly through PayPal. On the rare occasions the item doesn’t show up, I open an "Item Not Received" claim.
It is totally normal to pay for an item before it is shipped and you should allow 10 days for the item to arrive

I am creating store buttons with the PayPal Merchant Services feature. With this you place a button on your site that takes you to a secure payment page through PayPal. I was wondering if it is possible to get a discount code feature applied to the button. I do not want to give discounts to everyone just the people who enter this specific code. When creating a button there is a spot to enter code for Advanced Variables. I imagine this is where you would enter the code. Please let me know, thanks!

Where would you create the code at and the amount it takes off? I am looking to use it on a special occasion. For example I would give someone a code to use that day then take it away so I don’t think hacking would be a problem. Could you give me the code to try?

To achieve what you want you would need to muck about with the PayPal API, but there’s an easier way.

Instead of using a discount code, you can use a special page, which is identical to the normal page, (or different if you like), but has a button with the discounted price on it, instead of the normal one. Send your favored customers to this special page.

When your offer has expired, you just take down the extra page, or replace it with a page saying the offer expired and with a link to your normal page

The Paypal user agreement says that if you send or receive money exclusively using Paypal balance or bank account, then it’s free. How about requesting money from someone? I was on the page for requesting money, and there are only 2 options to choose from when I was asked for the purpose of the request: goods or service. And it appears that both charge a fee. I do have a personal account (not premier or merchant account).

A few years ago I signed up to mybeatshop.com and I sold 3 beats linked to this paypal account and I do not even remember having this paypal account. I checked throughout all of my emails trying to find anything to help me get my password but no luck.

I had this same problem the other day. What I ended up doing was using my bank account number to get into the site. So if you have your bank account number that you used for the card then you can use that to reset your password. If you don’t have it then you will probably have to call Paypal to get your password reset.

You can’t, but if you have a bank account then why don’t you set up a direct debit. Or just go into a shop and buy a top up card with cash

I am making a website to help promote ending Climate Change and I was wondering how I could set up some means of payment so that people can donate.

There is a Donate facility on the PayPal site.
People will be wanting to know exactly where this money is going. There is no known charity for "climate change" or any related legitimate organization seeking funds.
Climate Change is a natural thing, just like a sudden rainfall or snowfall. Not sure how you think any human being can change it

Yep, as long as you have a debit/credit card then you can use paypal. Then when you pay for things of ebay you just log in and the payment is made.

Ok, here’s the issue. Stamps.com grabbed almost $300 from my paypal account when I opened up a backup funding source to be used for a rental car. I signed up with stamps.com back in ‘07 and never used them since. They have been trying to get money off my paypal debit card ever since from what they told me. The second that backup funding source was opened, they yanked out that money. So, I did a chargeback with my bank. The money was put into my bank account today, but paypal sent me an email saying my account has limited access. BUT when I signed into my account they said that I have a negative balance, which is the amount of the charge. WTH???? Does that mean I am in debt to paypal? Will paypal go after stamps.com? Will paypal go back into my account and take that money back? I don’t know what’s going on!!! Thanks for the informative answers!!!

Paypal is like the middle man when u purchase something online and you are using paypal it takes the moey from your card then sends on to whatever you are paying for to their acc so you are not passing ur details out to different companies just paypal
