Ebay Issues/ PayPal Dispute PLEASE help!!?

Hi, okay about 3 weeks ago I had a girl from the U.K. buy a lot of hairstraighteners from me for $49.99. Of course, since I live in the states and she lives in the U.K. it took about two weeks via USPS to get to her. I recieved an email from her about a week ago stating that I, the seller, "did not pay correct shipping" and that she was going to have to pay the rest. She said the post man brought her a letter stating that she had to pay (27.17 in British pounds) to recieve her package. She DID file a PayPal claim listing it under "did NOT receive item." I was SUPER mad of course. I found out that she was trying to charge me for HER customs fees. I escalated her dispute to a claim and explained my side of the story. Of course, PayPal SUCKS and was in her favor. So now I'm out $49.99 , and the buyer will NOT return my emails. Is there ANY way I can file suit against her and get my money back?? I did NOTHING wrong. I researched customs fees and who's responsible for paying them and this website (http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/feedback-removal.html) says that the BUYER is responsible. I'm just so mad right now, it seems like PayPal ALWAYS favors the buyer!!! PLEASE help!!
Yes, I did keep ALL the emails but she is refusing to comply or listen. PayPal already favored her in which she won the case. I had no idea of a customs fee which is all in all her duty to pay. I have a negative -$49.99 in my PayPal account which I REFUSE to pay… so I don't kow what's going to happen. Why should I pay her back her money when she WILL NOT even send the item back?? She already told me she's NOT paying the fee, therefor I will not get my item back. I don't know what to do?? I guess my account is going to stay frozen because I'm not paying for this when I did nothing wrong.

If you shipped it to you then it's YOUR customs fee. You are responsible for getting the item to the customer at the agreed upon shipping cost. If the cost is more it's your job to make it right.

do you have the reciept for mailing the pacakage? maybe if you can show them the proof that you mailed it and that you paid correct postage, you could get them to listen. in all ads i have seen they state that the international buyer is indeed responsible for any customs charges that happen. also did you keep the email she sent you about the letter?
