Escalated a dispute in PayPal but it was automatically closed?
I filed a dispute under:
ITEM INCOMPLETE OR PART OF ITEM NOT RECEIVED
After I left a couple paragraphs when I filed the dispute, I clicked Escalate the claim - and it had me leave another comment.
But, the case is closed and I got an email saying this:
"You have chosen to escalate your dispute to a PayPal claim. By ending communication with the seller, you are asking PayPal to investigate the case and decide the outcome. As part of our investigation, PayPal reviewed any communication you may have had in the Resolution Center.
Our investigation into your claim is complete. As stated in our User
Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods
received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a refund."
Notice how it says I just escalated the claim, then in the same email it says the investigation was complete, and they couldn't refund me because there are no refunds for disputes about quality of items, HOWEVER I WAS DISPUTING ABOUT INCOMPLETENESS, aka me not receiving a part of an item what I bought.
Is the case still open or something? What the hell do I do?
It says in my PayPal that the case is closed.
Should I call PayPal or something?
All I did was escalate the claim before the seller responded.
Can you file another dispute? Maybe you checked the wrong box somewhere? You can also contact them and complain https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_contact-general
Mine was just automatically closed because the seller refuses to sign for the package. This is BS.
