I recently sold something on Etsy, and received money from the seller. Paypal asks me to either accept or deny the payment, but when I click "accept" it says this:

It doesn’t say that the payment is pending, it just says that the status is unclaimed, but the title of the ppage says "Accept Pending Payments". Do I have to be verified to accept this payment or will I get it once the item has been shipped and received?

It means they sent a credit card payment to you, and you have to verify your account, because of the amount sent.

It would appear you have exceeded the limits for a personal account, and are now going to have to verify who you are to accept that payment. Its pretty simple and requires a bank account, and takes only a couple of days to complete….
